Problem with Wassapp: after I post a comment in a chat, say chat1 and go to other chat and then come back to chat1, comments posted by me are not shown. Any way to get rid of this?

Wassapp isn't a reliable application and it has been considered by many users as being "incomplete" when it comes to development. Instead WhatsApp is working just fine. It's a bug and you should forward this error to the developer. Contact the developer and explain to him what exactly you did when the error appeared. Unfortunately, this is the only way known at the moment for this issue.

I am not able to register my number on Wassapp. When I try to register my number, it shows a message "An error occurred. Try again later". Is there a solution?

Wassapp shouldn't be used to communicate on WhatsApp. Instead of using this application, install Bluestacks and use the official WhatsApp application. You can get Bluestacks from its official website as well as WhatsApp. Download the APK package and install it after Bluestacks has been installed. Start the application and follow the procedure to activate it. You need a phone with an active number and reception to receive the code to activate WhatsApp.

I would advise on using Bluestacks if you want WhatsApp functionality. Wassapp is not an official software, therefore it's full of bugs and errors. The good thing about Bluestacks is that you can install official Android WhatsApp application. You just need a phone number nearby to confirm the installation.

On a PC, launch the application and click Register, then input the mobile number of your phone, but first select the country and then input the IMEI of your phone. You can find your IMEI by using the dialer and dial: *#06#. Once you complete this process you will receive an SMS message with additional details.

After I put the country and WiFi MAC Address and press request code the message is showing: "An error occurred. Try again later". What's the problem?

You have probably encountered maintenance or there was an error with their servers. The application works just fine, you just need to try again later and you will be able to log in to import contacts and any related items.

The phone's IMEI is the phone's unique identification number and the WiFi Mac address is the hardware address of the wireless module. Follow the instructions below to find them:

  • IMEI : Go to Dialer and dial *#06#
  • WiFi Mac: Settings > About Phone > Status (scroll down)

I wouldn't recommend on giving away your IMEI because it can be generated for other phones or even copied.

Wassapp requires you to enter the phone number and the IMEI of the phone in order to register for an account but that process is bugged and it will give you errors most of the time. Instead of using Wassapp, try installing Bluestacks and then use the official WhatsApp application. Bluestacks is an Android emulator that has the capability of installing official Android apps and games.

My Sony Xperia unfortunately broke & I'm back on a good old reliable Nokia! I've installed Wassapp on my laptop, and it's asking me to enter my number & IMEI. I am putting in my Sony's IMEI but it's saying the phone number/password are incorrect. Any help is much appreciated!

It's recommended to avoid Wassapp. Instead install Bluestacks and use the official WhatsApp application. Put the SIM in another phone then use the PIN you receive during the activation in Bluestacks to activate your application.
